The Opel Insignia is a mid-range car that replaced the famous Opel Vectra in 2008. It is the first mass-produced car to have a front camera with a road sign recognition system. The Insignia has retained exactly the same length and wheelbase as the Vectra, but may offer a little more space inside. The most powerful engine is a petrol 2.8 L V6 turbo with 260 hp (191 kW). The car is indeed a refreshing breeze in the Opel range and is expected to maintain and perhaps even surpass the success of the Vectra model. It is possible that he will succeed, because it is not for nothing that the Insignia became the European Car of the Year 2009 by overtaking the Ford Fiesta.
