This Opel was developed in collaboration with Renault, so an identical version of the Renault Trafic is produced. A similar model of Nissan Primastar is also produced, as Nissan and Renault are close partners. The cars stand out with their eye-catching front design, which contrasts with the usual styles of the Ford Transit and Volkswagen Transporter models. The buyer is presented with various versions of Trafic - from a three-seater with full rear space for cargo, to a nine-seater passenger car. The car is manufactured with two lengths of body (L1 maneuverable in the city and L2 with 2.8 m of cargo space), two heights (H1 and H2), 5, 6, 7 or 8 m3 of useful volume and up to 1200 kg of cargo. In 2006, the Vivaro was recognized as the best van of the year.
