The new Volkswagen Eos is a four-seater convertible with a hard folding five-piece roof that also has panoramic glass. The name Eos is perfect for a playful convertible - it is borrowed from the Greek goddess of dawn and wind. This is a convertible developed by Volkswagen since the days of the Corrado Convertible and has replaced the Volkswagen Cabrio previously manufactured on the Golf base. It is now a completely individual model with no common design details with other Volkswagen cars and is built on the Passat B6 platform. The most powerful variant has a VR6 3.2 engine with 184 kW (247 hp) and reaches 100 km / h in 7.3 seconds.
