The beautifully designed Passat CC (encrypted as a Comfort Coupe) is the original 4-door coupe. This car in the Volkswagen range stands between the regular Passat and the flagship Phaeton and is built on the base of the Passat, but is longer, wider and lower than it. CC represents a newly discovered niche in recent years - a niche of luxurious, sporty, dynamic design with powerful engines, four-door, but close to the design coupe cars. One of the first representatives of this niche is the well-known Mercedes-Benz CLS. The most powerful version of this Passat is an all-wheel drive version with a 3.6 L VR6 engine, 300 hp and acceleration to 100 km / h in 6.6 seconds. The interior uses higher quality materials than the regular Passat and plenty of standard equipment to further distinguish the two cars. Sure, the Passat CC is also significantly more expensive than the Passat, and the interior space is smaller, but is that important for sports car enthusiasts?
In 2009, Ward's organization selected the interior of this car among the top 10.
