The Fiat Coupe is most memorable for its truly distinctive and distinctive design, with diagonal lines running through the sides and Ferrari-type headlights. The body was designed by Chris Bangle and the interior by Pininfarina. The design of this Fiat far surpassed many of the sporty coupe cars of the time. The coupe was produced with four-cylinder 2.0-liter atmospheric and turbo engines. Both engines were twin-cam versions of the legendary Lancia Delta Integrale (which won a record 6 WRC championships). The most powerful version had an excellent 5-cylinder 2.0-liter 20V turbo engine with 220 hp (162 kW) and was able to accelerate from 0-100 km / h in just 6.3 seconds, with a top speed of 250 km / h. At one time, it was the fastest front-wheel drive car in Europe! This is incredibly great data for a “folk” car. Some models even had a special engine start button.
The design of the car was designed by Chris Bangle, who is well known as the creator of the 2002 BMW 7 Series, the 2003 BMW 5 Series and some other subsequent BMW designs.
