The first thought that comes to mind when you see the Ford B-MAX: "really, how nice he is", even the Opel Meriva next to it loses its beauty. The Kinetic Design style used by Ford for a number of years seems to be a great fit for both large and small company models. It is a stylish, small but extremely comfortable minivan that must win the hearts of European buyers. Inside, we find an interior very similar to the Ford Fiesta model. Obviously, here the style takes precedence over ergonomics - there are really too many different buttons arranged around the information system control wheel. The most interesting feature of the car is the unique side-opening doors and no side pillars. The front doors have integrated side pillars and the rear doors fold back. In this way, a comfortable and unobstructed entry cavity opens up on the sides of the car. By the way, this decision was made only with full confidence that the occupants of the car will remain safe in the event of a side impact. Another big advantage is the B-MAX's interior space, which, although slightly larger than the Opel Meriva, is extremely easy and comfortable to use. Without struts, getting in and out of the car is extremely easy, the sliding side doors are especially useful in tight parking lots, and the trunk holds 300 liters. The car on the road is certainly not as agile as the Fiesta, but the suspension is more comfortable than at the nearest competitors Honda Jazz and Opel Meriva. The steering is well-adjusted, sensitive and "off-road", so the car provides a pleasant feeling when driving in areas where maneuverability is required. Underneath the Ford B-MAX hood are small, fuel-efficient engines - their smallest 1.0-liter three-cylinder EcoBoost petrol engine with 120 hp, consuming just 4.9 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers and emitting just 114 g of carbon dioxide. That’s about 15 percent. better economy and pollution performance than competitors. But the most enjoyable is the 1.6-liter diesel engine, which not only has commendable economy, but also provides excellent dynamics.
