Despite the fact that minivans are no longer in high demand these days, they still have one advantage that no other crossover or SUV has - uncompromising interior spaciousness. And if you need maximum space in the interior of the car, plus you need exceptional comfort, then you will not find so many offers. Lexus understood this, which is why it produced such a seemingly unusual vehicle. The first generation of this car was introduced in 2020 and is based on the Toyota Alphard and is positioned as a top-class minivan. Now we have the fourth generation. Although some may call this new Lexus model simply a "facelift" version, the fundamentally redesigned body and platform and other changes allow the automaker to call the Lexus LM a new generation car. As indicated by its "L" designation in the car's name, the LM is part of Lexus' flagship lineup, along with the large LS sedan and the LC coupe and convertible. At the front, Lexus has installed the well-known meshed radiator grille, which looks gigantic and covers most of the front end. In the lower part, on the sides, there are two vertical air intakes directing the air around the body. Above the bumper are elongated, typical Lexus-style headlights that use only LEDs. The LM stands out with its emphatically angular body, which emphasizes the spaciousness of the car. This angular body ends with a vertical trunk adorned with intricately shaped taillights and topped with a beautifully integrated air scoop. The interior of the car could compete with any other ultra-luxury vehicle on the market in the world. Up front, there are two seats separated by a tall center console, the dashboard is covered with leather and wood inserts, and a giant screen is mounted above the center console. Behind the front seats, Lexus offers a choice of five seats in two rows or just two reclining super-comfortable seats that have plenty of room for passengers of any height. This model is furnished to the highest luxury standards. The multi-function seats allow the occupants to access many functions, so every trip will be as comfortable as if you were sitting at home. In this way, we are also preparing for the arrival of autonomous cars, when the focus will shift from the car's handling characteristics to the comfort provided to passengers. The Lexus LM is powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder and electric motor. The first turns the front wheels, while the second directs power to the rear axle when needed. This power system is already installed in the new NX 350h and RX 350h models.
