The Skoda Rapid is closely related to another model in the Volkswagen Group, the SEAT Toledo. It's no secret that both cars are characterized by practicality, space, comfort and quality - Volkswagen knows perfectly well. The new model will occupy an intermediate niche between the smaller Fabia and larger Octavia models. From the outside, the Skoda Rapid looks more than restrained - strict straight lines, simplicity and restrained aesthetics. The car looks nice, but doesn't give up the feeling that the bolder designer pencil strokes have been told a drastic no-brainer. Inside, the same story - rigor, order and hard plastic reign everywhere. True, this will not be important to all potential buyers, as the strength of the car is practicality. The huge 550-liter boot is all 200 liters larger than, say, a Volkswagen Golf in the same class. The trunk itself opens not like a sedan but like a hatchback, so access to the cargo in the trunk is great. True, the rear seats don’t bend on a flat surface, but that’s acceptable. The Rapid comes with already tested engines like the Volkswagen Polo and SEAT Ibiza, so you can reasonably expect that there will be no problems with them. The engine range is really wide, but the most noteworthy are the 1.2-liter TSI petrol engine with 104 hp and the diesel 1.6 TDI engine with the same 104 hp.
