The first-generation Hyundai Santa Fe was the car that gave the South Korean company a positive boost and the company’s first assessments as solid and serious carmakers. The new model highlights slightly sharper, beautifully curved and harmonious lines. Although there are no exceptional design solutions, the car looks beautiful - definitely better than its predecessor and more attractive than the new Honda CR-V. The interior of Santa Fe echoes the exterior theme well - it is attractive, pleasant to look at and pleasant to the touch. True, this is not an interior of the Audi Q5, so you can certainly find flaws, but it does not call into question the quality. The new Santa Fe has become longer, wider and lower than its predecessor, so there is more space for passengers - the second row of seats has 3.8 cm and the third - 4.5 cm more space. Although getting on the third row of seats is a bit tricky, you can sit relatively comfortably. The boot volume is huge - even 969 liters, which can be increased to 2247 liters. The car is equipped with one of three engines: 2.4-liter petrol or one of two turbodiesels - 2.0 l and 2.2 l, with power ranging from 150 to 197 hp. All engines are equipped with an ultra-compact automatic or mechanical six-speed gearbox. The Hyundai Santa Fe's suspension is adjusted for comfortable, quiet driving on a variety of road surfaces, so it's no surprise that the SUV still has a significant amount of cornering, but that doesn't bother the driver. After all, it’s hard to call Santa Fe a compact SUV.
