The Renault Koleos is a compact SUV developed in partnership with Nissan. The Koleos all-wheel drive system was designed using Nissan’s 4x4 drive experience. Renault has had some of this experience in the field of four-wheel drive (Scenic RX4 and Kangoo), but has never produced a real SUV or SUV before. This is a completely new field not only for Renault, but also for other French manufacturers - Citroen and Peugeot, which have also launched their SUVs - Citroen C-Crosser and Peugeot 4007. The Koleos frame is compact, making the car comfortable to drive in both city and corners narrow roads. The SUV is made with engines that have not been fitted to other Renault so far, but will soon be available on the Clio and Laguna models. The Koleos is really quiet, the space in the cabin, the heating system and the automatic two-zone air conditioning system - all this ensures comfort, which is the main goal of the SUV.
