The luxury SUV market has long been managed by Mercedes, Land Rover, Porsche and Lexus. Will there be room for a newbie here? Audi thinks so. The Audi Q7 model offers a dynamic design combined with luxury, and the technologically advanced quattro system and variable height air-suspended suspension are indisputable pluses. The name Q7 - "Q" means a new line of SUVs in the Audi range, "7" indicates that the car will stand between the A6 and A8 models. The Q7 has a truly dynamic design that looks more like a large station wagon than an SUV. The car has three seating rows with seven seats. The Q7 is built on the Volkswagen Group 7L platform 4L and is designed to be driven more on asphalt than off-road - the car does not have a lowered gear, although it uses a permanent quattro all-wheel drive system. To mark Audi’s success with the R10 diesel engine, which won the Le Mans race, a new V12 TDI engine will be fitted to the Q7 model. This six-turbine six-liter engine produces 500 hp (368 kW) of power and an impressive 1000 Nm of torque, accelerating to 100 km / h in 5.5 seconds. It is the most powerful and only V12 diesel engine in the world! The car is truly impressive, powerful, manoeuvrable, but lacking in off-road capabilities.
