Cupra Born, 2021 - present
The Cupra name was born to mark the sportiest version of the Spanish car manufacturer SEAT. But now Cupra has grown into a brand in its own right, offering a few models for now, with many more to come soon. The Cupra Born is essentially the same car as the Volkswagen ID.3. Both cars are similar in exterior design as well. It differs only in the place where it is easiest to change - it is the design of the front part and the rear lights. The changes are really great - the Spanish Volkswagen looks sportier and more attractive than the German Volkswagen. Inside, the cars have a bit more difference, but even here the two cars are closely related. The advantage of the Born over the ID.3 is a higher quality interior finish. The cars differ not only in the materials used, but also in the style - details such as copper-colored "Cupra" badge inserts give the interior of the electric car more playfulness. The behavior of electric cars on the road is also not the same - as expected, the Cupra Born is therefore sporty, the car's suspension is designed for sporty driving. And for those who want maximum comfort and good handling comfort, adaptive suspension. The Cupra Born electric cars are equipped with the same 150 kW electric motors as the Volkswagen ID.3, but only the Spanish models are equipped with a temporary power boost function - the maximum electric motor power of the "eBoost" version can be increased to 170 kW for 30 seconds. Cupra Born electric cars are equipped with batteries with a capacity of 58 or 77 kWh.
