Incredibly, we haven't seen the Integra name on a new car for over 15 years since 2006. Until now, the Integra name has been primarily associated with the iconic 1990s DC1 and DC2 models that made their mark in the first Fast and Furious movies and racetracks. Now in its fifth generation, this model will be a big change in the Integra association, as the new car has moved away from its sporty coupe roots to become a family five-door hatchback. Disappointment? Of course. You will say, it's good that it didn't become a crossover like Mitsubishi Eclipse or Ford Puma models. However, "Integra cars were not ordinary sports cars, but many in real sports competitions", so the Honda company decided to maintain at least the basic sports characteristics. These basic features are shared by the eleventh-generation Honda Civic, so it's no surprise that both cars are built on the same platform, share the same engines and are visually similar. The standard powertrain is the 1.5-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine from the Honda Civic Si version mated to either a CVT transmission or a 6-speed manual transmission. The engine develops a power of 203 hp (149 kW) and a torque of 260 Nm. the new Integra's 1.5L engine may seem a little disappointing compared to the rev-loving 1.8 and 2.0-litre units of the past, but it's as expected and inevitable. Drivers can purchase the A-spec model with an optional limited-slip differential and manual gearbox. The car has an adaptive suspension system that allows you to save a personalized and individual driving mode. The Integra shared a platform and other parts with the Honda Civic model, but the Integra's interior remained true to the brand name and quality of the Acura brand. Interior styling is similar to that of the RDX and TLX sedans, with features like faux leather heated sport seats, 8-way or even 12-way power driver's seat. The car has a standard 7.0 infotainment screen or an optional 9.0-inch impact.
