The Infiniti Q50 replaces the old G25 / G35 / G37 sedan. The old model, being small (a competitor to the Lexus IS or the BMW 3 Series), had an uneconomical huge petrol engine and could hardly compete in the European market. The new model, which has a four-cylinder diesel engine borrowed from Mercedes and a hybrid power plant, is much more relevant for a refined European buyer. From the outside, the car looks like a very "wavy" car with hard-to-define lines, but that's the Infiniti design philosophy and it usually works. The front of the car is somewhat similar to the front of the recently introduced larger Lexus GS, while the rear is reminiscent of the rear of the Mazda 6. The Infiniti Q50 is one of the longest cars in its class and has one of the longest wheelbases, giving passengers plenty of space inside, especially legroom. While the dashboard is no longer as distinctive in style as the other Infiniti and its design is infinitely similar to that of another competitor, the Cadillac ATS dashboard, overall the interior gives the impression of a quality, high-tech car. The materials used are really high quality, there are two huge touch-sensitive screens in the center. The well-functioning and quiet 2.2d diesel engine has a well-felt torque, and the ultra-light car accelerates to 100 km / h in 8.5 seconds. The manufacturer makes no secret that there will be versions with a 3.7-liter V6 engine with 328 hp, as well as hybrids with a 3.5-liter V6 engine and electric motors. The latter version will have a total capacity of up to 360 hp. On the road, the car behaves stably, stays well on the road. A disadvantage is the very uninformative all-electric steering (there is no mechanical connection between the steering and the front wheels). Although its sensitivity can be adjusted, it is difficult to choose a golden mean to meet everyday driving needs.
