After a break of several decades, the off-road manufacturer Jeep is presenting a pickup truck again, the last one was the Jeep Comanche, whose production was discontinued in 1992. The new Jeep Gladiator is built on the base of the recently debuted Jeep Wrangler JL, so it has the features of a spacious and powerful car that is perfect for off-roading. And more importantly, it has the same iconic styling as the Wrangler. Because undoubtedly style will be extremely important when choosing this type of pick-up - no one will break the Gladiator pick-up in construction or forestry. The new pickup truck is made using the Jeep Wrangler platform, but is even 80 cm longer than the latter's five-door version and has a half-meter longer wheelbase. And its five-link rear suspension is the same as the Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck, and is tuned to carry heavy loads. As with the Wrangler, the Gladiator has maximum modification options. Even in the factory version, the doors can be removed, the roof can be removed in parts, the windshield can be folded forward, so such a car will remain with an open body and a safety frame. Inside, passengers are greeted by a classically styled interior, but supplemented with the necessary attributes of modern life, such as a touch-sensitive LCD screen, where you can see the rear view of the car filmed by a camera installed in the center of the spare wheel. In addition, this interior is completely waterproof in case the dismantled car gets caught in the rain. The Jeep Gladiator is a pretty solid pickup truck - it's built on a frame structure, has differential locking capabilities, etc. This is not very surprising, but what is important is that the Gladiator handles very poorly even on a normal road.
