The Škoda Karoq replaces the highly successful Škoda Yeti, which has been manufactured for many years. The newcomer is actually bigger than the Yeti and has more similarities to the larger Škoda Kodiaq SUV. So, over the years, Škoda has presented us with crossovers of similar size, design and similar names. The key question is whether they will succeed in this filled market where attractive, stylish and sunbathing Peugeot 3008, Ford Kuga, Hyundai Tucson, Kia Sportage, Mazda CX-5, Nissan Qashqai, Renault Kadjar and Toyota RAV4 await. In fact, the Škoda move is well-balanced - the Yeti model with its distinctive design was the one that had to draw attention to itself and it succeeded. Surprise tactics are often used to occupy a new market segment, but after gaining a certain market share, more modest models follow, which aim to please the largest possible audience.
