For a long time now, Skoda has ceased to be just a budget and cheap brand, and the Superb model is just the one that destroyed those long-standing images. The new model is inferior to the slightly smaller but well-regarded VW Passat, Ford Mondeo or Mazda 6. The design of the car is completely analogous to the previously appeared Octavia style - sculptural lines, subtlety and elegance. The Skoda flagship does not present anything new in this area. The headlights are reminiscent of the Seat Leon model - it’s no surprise as both brands are hiding under the same Volkswagen wing. Inside, the Superb design is even closer to the Octavia - we won’t find any controversial lines or unexpected solutions here. On the other hand, the quality of the materials, although not comparable to Audi or BMW models, is impeccable and leaves a great impression. The superb goal is to be an S-Class Mercedes for the masses, so the car’s behavior is focused on comfort and sophistication. The manufacturer does not hide - Superb does not have sporty features, so the body tilt is significantly felt in corners. An important advantage of the car is the combination of small-capacity fuel-efficient engines with a large body that boasts a really large space for all passengers, including those in the rear seats, and an extra-large luggage compartment with a capacity ranging from 652 to 1,760 liters.
