The new G Series is available with three bodies - sedan, coupe and convertible. Both the sedan and coupe cars are similar on the outside, and the convertible has a solid roof. The cars are now marked G37 as the engine displacement has increased to 3.7 L and the power to 330 hp. It’s a great, yet widely used and appreciated V6 engine with a VVEL (Variable Valve Event and Lift) valve control system that is front mounted and drives the rear or all wheels. It is designed to generate explosive power. The new G-Series Infiniti has a more aerodynamic design, improved suspension, and engines designed to compete with cars such as the Audi TT, Jaguar XK and BMW 335i. The new cars will feature many new technologies, such as the four-wheel Active Steer system, which will improve the car's handling, especially when driving in sharp turns, the ATTESA E-TS all-wheel drive system.
