The new Mercedes-Benz B-Class is competing with segment leaders Ford C-MAX and Volkswagen Golf Plus. This small monovolume class is for families who need a little more space or a slightly higher seat behind the wheel than standard hatchbacks can offer. Slightly lower and wider than its predecessor, the B-Series Mercedes looks sportier and more dynamic although the dimensions have remained almost the same. In the foreground comes a huge radiator grille with a modest triangular star in the middle, sympathetic lights on the sides, and small LED lights beautifully composed in the bumper. In terms of design, the most noticeable of the koger are the two characteristic intertwining lines that run through the sides of the car. Yes, the car looks really better than the recognized class leaders. Inside, the instrument panel resembles the cockpit of a supercar SLS AMG. The materials used in the interior deserve special praise - the devices and details are a pleasure to touch with both hands and eyes. It's nice and nice, but there are also some weird solutions - Multimedia management is not understood by everyone here. Lots of unnecessary clicks, a kind of transition from one function to another and changes on-board computer settings. As the whole world installs touch screens, Mercedes is constantly improving its button systems, and crashes often become difficult to control. Greater comfort and dynamism will be provided by the new four-link rear suspension, which has a lower center of gravity. The cornering car is surprisingly stable and not prone to large fluctuations, and the precise electric power steering gives you even more confidence. The new 1.6-liter petrol turbocharged engine with 120 or 154 horsepower runs smoothly and is dynamic enough, although it may run out of power in the low-speed range. The 1.8-liter diesel engine with 107 or 134 hp respectively has excellent torque and is characterized by cultured engine performance.
